On-going Tuesday & Friday sessions at the Robert Carpenter Community Center, Franklin, NC.  This class has it all: breath work, stretching, strengthening, meditation and flowing forms. With regular practice, these techniques give one the strength of a warrior, the flexibility of a child and the wisdom of a sage.  Gentle warm-ups are followed by 2 traditional qigong sets (DaMo 18 Muscle-Tendon Changing Classic + The 5 Beasts at Play) as well as several ancient tai chi routines and meditations originating from Wudang and Shaolin Temples in China.  These practices have been used for centuries to transform ordinary humans into warrior monks. This traditional system follows: Warm-Ups, DaMo 18 Sinew Changing Classic, 5 Beasts at Play, BaMen Taiji, Yuan Hu Chuan Taiji, Zhan Zhuan standing meditation, Dao-In cool down. You should at least drop-in to check it out.


This classic class is appropriate for and attended by beginners and advanced practitioners alike.…
